Filtering Wisdom Series
Through life’s challenges, we seek wisdom. Let’s explore what happens when that wisdom encounters Scripture, it may shift how we see God entirely. Along the way, visual images will help bring the story to life, making it easier to see, understand, and remember.

(Coming Soon ) Ancient Wisdom Series
Ancient wisdom from various cultures offers insight into life and human nature, but when compared to the Bible, it often reveals something deeper beneath the surface. Scripture’s timeless truths not only align with but expand on these teachings, brought to life through images that help you see, connect with, and carry the story.
We are Ruth and Rupert, not just names, but a symbol of friendship, wisdom, and conversation across generations. This series bears our names because it embodies what we’ve always believed: that deep truth is best discovered in community, through curiosity, and with a willingness to wrestle honestly with both faith and doubt.
One of the most common questions we hear is, “Is the Bible real?” It’s not just a challenge of history or credibility, it’s a cry for something trustworthy in a world full of noise. That question often opens the door to more: Who is God? Where is He in my pain? Can I really know Him?
We’ve seen it time and again-people worn thin by life’s promises, chasing meaning in all the usual places, only to come up empty. We’ve sat across tables from skeptics, wanderers, and wounded believers alike, and we’ve learned that the questions we ask in our most fragile moments are often the ones that open the door to something greater.
Not every answer comes quickly. Some take a lifetime. But the search is sacred.
That’s why this series exists: to walk with you through your questions, your longings, and even your disillusionments. We explore the wisdom of the world, modern thought, ancient philosophy, expert insight, not to dismiss it, but to examine it in light of something truer, deeper, and more enduring: the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
This is not about certainty for certainty’s sake. It’s about honest exploration and the surprising grace of a God who meets us where we are, even in doubt, even in disappointment, and gently leads us home. If you’ve ever wondered if there’s more, if you’re longing for solid ground, you’re in good company.
